UK SHOPPING TIP
Use unit prices to compare multipacks
The bigger pack is not always the cheapest way to buy everyday essentials.
Compare the price per kilogram, litre, item or wash using the same unit for both products. For example, divide a £6 price by 24 items to get 25p per item.
For concentrated products, check the recommended dose. A large bottle may contain fewer uses than a smaller concentrated version, so bottle size alone can be misleading.
Only bulk-buy what you can use and store safely. Check use-by dates and whether the discount depends on recurring deliveries. A low unit price is not a saving if half the pack goes unused.
